Large-scale performance art at the park April 11-13
Sorauren Park will be home to a fascinating, large-scale performance artwork April 11 to 13. Called “I Am a Banana Box,” the installation art features 42 canvas “houses.” They represent the 42 times artist Alexandra Hazisavva 3 s has moved in her life (she now lives in the neighbourhood).
She will move from house to house, one hour at a time, over the performance dates. “This performance is done in silence and will be explored alone. This will enable and support me in exorcising the demons of the past,” she says in her press kit.
For more information contact the artist at 416 533 0503 or alexhazi@hotmail.com.
